Todd Deveau has been named to both Georgia’s Legal Elite and Georgia’s Super Lawyers. He is involved in all practice areas of the firm. He has prosecuted patent applications primarily in the chemical, biochemical and mechanical arts, and also in the electrical arts, as well as trademark and design applications, both in the United States and throughout the world. Mr. Deveau has drafted and negotiated numerous license and technology transfer agreements involving all types of inventions and technologies.
A substantial portion of Mr. Deveau’s practice involves litigation of intellectual property matters. He has successfully litigated as lead counsel patent matters in numerous arts, as well as trademark, trade dress, copyright and trade secret matters, including computer software, unfair competition, and counterfeiting matters. He has also served as an Arbitrator on both single and multi-panel arbitrations and has served as a Special Master and a Mediator to assist the United States District Court. Before practicing law, he served as a teaching fellow and a laboratory instructor in chemical engineering.
